A newly constructed bathhouse opened a week ago. It was very clean and had sturdy locks.

Great place. $5/night, no charge for day stay. Grills, covered picnic area, bathrooms, and fishing. Only trolling motors and non-motorized boats allowed. Nice area. Essentially works on an honor system.

For a dry camping experience (no electric, water or sewer hookups) this nice clean little campground can't be beat! Sites are level, gravel and far apart for a real get-a way feeling. $5.00 a night or $2.50 if you have a Golden Pass Card makes this place a great value. There are also several bathrooms and sink (no showers) and they are kept super clean. Check back because they are planning to build a new loop in the park with full hookups we were told. Happy trails! Jim & Joy Marcantel

Honestly, this place is better than I expected. The camping sights are nice, but there isn't any power or water. The locals that I met said power to every site is coming soon.

Clean and quiet - trails are nice, the water is clean, and the history is quite interesting, especially when you see the impact of TGD compared to modern day forestry.

The walking trail has a long (1.5 mile) and short (0.5 mile) loop where you can see the remains of one of the South's a largest mill towns.
